From August 1-2, 2024, a delegation from Vietnam's Ministry of Information and Communications, led by Minister Nguyen Manh Hung, engaged in high-level meetings with South Korean government officials and businesses.

During the meeting with South Korea's Minister of Science and ICT, Lee Jong-ho, both sides exchanged information and discussed strategies and policies for developing digital infrastructure, the digital economy, ICT industry, and digital innovation amid the widespread application of artificial intelligence (AI).

The two ministers discussed directions and priorities to promote cooperation, leveraging each country's strengths, and creating favorable conditions for organizations and businesses to implement collaborative research projects, develop new technologies, and train high-quality human resources, particularly for the semiconductor industry.
