Tangerang Selatan – BRIN Public Relations. The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) actively participated in two prestigious international events in South Korea — The 10th Civil Engineering Conference in the Asian Region (CECAR10) and the Regional Training Course on Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) Level 2, which took place throughout October 2025.
Roziq Himawan, a researcher from the Research Center for Radiation Process Technology, under BRIN’s Research Organization for Nuclear Energy (ORTN), represented Indonesia at the events. He emphasized the importance of applying Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) technology as an effort to ensure the quality and safety of modern construction.
He delivered his presentation during the CECAR10 Conference held at the International Convention Center (ICC) Jeju, South Korea, on October 21–24, 2025, which was attended by more than 500 experts from across the Asia-Pacific region.
This participation reflects BRIN’s continuous efforts to expand research collaboration and strengthen human resource capacity in the field of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), which plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of modern infrastructure.
