To foster self-sustaining advancements in science, technology, and innovation (STI), it is essential to strengthen STI policy capacity, which will not only enhance domestic capabilities but also facilitate broader international exchanges, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing.

Background

Training support for ASEAN science and technology human resource and main partners of ROK-ASEAN joint research on Science, Technology and Innovation in the mid-term is necessary.

Description

Expanding science, technology and innovation policy capacity to promote the expansion of interchanges.
- Expansion of science, technology and innovation policy capacity is mandatory for the self-development of sustainable science, technology and innovation.
- Policy capacity means the cultivation of ability on the overall scope of the science, technology and innovation policy establishment, implementation, monitoring, assessment, etc.
Planning/Development and teaching events for businesses that can systematically promote training excellent human resources for science and technology of the ASEAN region from a periodic point of view are necessary.
- Programs that support the discovery of science and technology human resources at the secondary education level (such as scholarship, etc.).
