Indonesia and South Korea Sign Energy and Investment Cooperation Agreement

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. Indonesia and South Korea maintain a robust bilateral relationship, particularly in the investment sector. South Korea serves as a strategic partner for Indonesia in developing its natural resources potential. Collaboration between the two nations can generate innovations that support sustainable development.

The Indonesian and South Korean governments have implemented policies that foster cooperation in the renewable energy sector. Both countries have issued various regulations and incentives to attract foreign investment. Similarly, South Korea encourages its companies to participate in international projects, including those in Indonesia.

This has also driven collaboration between South Korean company LNG Korea Co., Ltd and PT Charlotte Zeno Indonesia (CZI), marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement in the fields of energy and investment in Indonesia on Friday, February 14, 2025, at the Bali Room, Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, Jakarta. The signing ceremony for the energy and investment cooperation agreement was attended by the President Director of PT Charlotte Zeno Indonesia (CZI), Chiquita Quireen, the President Director of LNG Korea Co., Ltd, Lee Jae Hyun, and the Executive Vice President of Korea Gas Technology Corporation, Song Min Ho.
