Korea Expressway Corporation (KEC) is expanding cooperation with Malaysia to advance smart highway development, drawing on its experience in automated toll collection and highway operations in South Korea.

KEC announced on October 20 that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) to strengthen cooperation in road infrastructure and transportation technology. The agreement was signed at the Gangneung Convention Center in Gangneung, Gangwon Province.
