The primary activities of this Center will consist of functioning as a platform for S&T investment promotion, participating in related sectorial meetings, leading S&T cooperation opportunities seminars, and maintaining contacts as a collaborative gateway across ASEAN member states. In addition to its core activities in ASEAN, the center will contribute to the reinforcement of dialogue and partnerships with an International multilateral organization related to ASEAN in the S&T field.

Overview Programs

AKSTCC's programs aims to promote cooperative R&D projects, identify the multilateral cooperation needs of ROK-ASEAN for sustainable development and develop implementation plans accordingly. The Center will support ROK's S&T experiences to be shared with ASEAN countries.

Korean robotics, AI firms interested in Vietnam

Seoul (VNA) - The Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) is accelerating Korean robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) companies’ entry into Vietnam, a market fast remaking itself as Asia’s next hi-tech manufacturing hub.

KOTRA said it is teaming up with the Korea Institute for Robot Industry Advancement to run the “K-Robot Pavilion"” at the 23rd Vietnam International Exhibition on Machinery, Equipment, Technology and Industrial Products (VINAMAC EXPO 2026) in Hanoi from May 14-16.
