BRIN Opens Opportunities for International Collaboration to Increase Utilization of HPC Infrastructure in Indonesia

Bandung - BRIN Public Relations. The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) through the Organization for Research in Electronics and Informatics (OREI) continues to collaborate with various stakeholders including from abroad to increase the utilization of High Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure. HPC is an infrastructure that is very instrumental in supporting research in the field of Electronics and Informatics such as Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Computing.

In addition, HPC plays a role in various fields such as bioinformatics, geoinformatics, simulation/mathematical modeling and engineering and other fields. This was conveyed by Budi Prawara, Head of the Organization for Research in Electronics and Informatics (OREI) when receiving a working visit from a delegation of KISTI (Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information) to the office of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) in the Samaun Samadikun area in Bandung, Monday (10/6).

BRIN has held several meetings with KISTI, as a follow-up to several Digital Innovation Cooperation Programs submitted by the RoK Ministry of Science and ICT at the ASEAN-RoK Workshop for Artificial Intelligence 2023. This activity was carried out in the framework of cooperation with BRIN, especially OREI.
