Jakarta - BRIN Public Relations. The K-Innovation Partnership Program continues to make significant contributions to strengthening the research and innovation ecosystem in Indonesia. The year 2024 marks a crucial milestone in promoting private sector involvement and digital transformation in the management of research and development (R&D) infrastructure.
Boediastoeti Ontowirjo, Deputy for Research and Innovation Policy at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), emphasized the importance of optimizing data-based information systems, developing sustainable funding schemes, and technological foresight to align research agendas with national development priorities. This was stated during the workshop titled "The 2025 K-Innovation Workshop Partnership Program with Indonesia" with the theme "Strengthening the Research Ecosystem and Technology Foresight: Information Systems, Funding Schemes for Research Infrastructure and Future Research Areas in Indonesia." The event was held in a hybrid format at the BJ Habibie Building, Jakarta, on Wednesday (12/3).
"Indonesia is committed to becoming a knowledge-based economy by prioritizing relevant research, strategic partnerships, and evidence-based innovation. We invite all partners and stakeholders to contribute to shaping the national innovation roadmap," said Boediastoeti.
