Background

Each ASEAN country shows interest in science and technology legislation and policy improvement, but it could not establish comprehensive policy due to a lack of experience and finance.
- Supporting mediation via the centre so that ASEAN R&D Networks' cooperation can be linked with ASEAN's capacity reinforcement and integration.

- Bridging by implementing phased multilateral business, such as multilateral science and technology diplomacy, supporting overseas outposts, ASEAN joint research promotion, etc. via ROK-ASEAN Joint Committee on Science and Technology, ASEAN R&D Network, and the exclusive organization ROK-ASEAN Science and Technical Cooperation Center.
- Implementing business portfolio and complex role class based on ASEAN R&D Network's development stage.
