Cambodia is a key priority country for Korean official development assistance (ODA), reflecting the strengthening of Cambodia-Korea relations since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1997.
South Korea’s aid to Cambodia began in the early 1990s as humanitarian support. As ties have deepened, South Korea has offered ODA, grants, and concessional loans across sectors such as infrastructure, healthcare, technology, education, trade, governance and investment to support Cambodia’s growth.
