BRIN Strengthens Human Resources Capacity for Cyclotron-Based Radioisotope Development

South Tangerang – BRIN Public Relations. The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) is strengthening human resource capacity in the development of cyclotron-based radioisotope production technology through the IAEA TC INS1032 Expert Mission program, held at the B.J. Habibie Science and Technology Park (KST), Serpong, South Tangerang, from 5–9 October 2026.

Titled “Advanced Knowledge, Skills, and Research Prospects in Cyclotron-based Radioisotope and Radiopharmaceutical Production,” the program featured an expert from the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI), Min Goo Hur, who shared knowledge and experience on the development of targetry systems for radioisotope production.
