BRIN and STEPI Hold Workshop to Strengthen Maritime Research Infrastructure

Lombok – BRIN Public Relations. The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) together with the Science and Technology Policy Institute (STEPI) of South Korea are strengthening maritime research and innovation infrastructure through a workshop under the K-Innovation cooperation program.

The event, themed “Policy Consultation on the Design and Implementation of Research & Innovation Funding and the Infrastructure Policy for Improvement of the Science, Technology and Innovation System in Indonesia,” was held at the Kurnaen Sumadiharga Science Area in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara Province, on Thursday (September 11).

Deputy for Research and Innovation Policy (DKRI) of BRIN, Boediastoeti Ontowrijo, explained that the activity aimed at exchanging information and experiences in science, technology, and innovation (STI) policy. “We are implementing policies that BRIN and STEPI have studied in relation to Indonesia’s research ecosystem,” said Boediastoeti.
