Jakarta – BRIN Public Relations. The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) introduced the strategic capabilities, operational framework, and utilization programs of the ASEAN–Korea High Performance Computing (HPC) Facility in Indonesia to representatives from ASEAN Member States. The high-performance computing facility is expected to serve as a key driver of collaborative research and digital innovation across the region.

Khairul Rizal, Director of Research, Technology, and Innovation Measurement and Indicators at BRIN, stated that the HPC facility is a critical infrastructure for modern research requiring advanced computing capabilities. It supports a wide range of scientific fields, including artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, climate modeling, and genomics.
