Jakarta – BRIN Public Relations. The National Research and Innovation Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BRIN) is strengthening its high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure to support the development of the artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem in Southeast Asia through the establishment of an ASEAN HPC facility.

Head of BRIN’s Research Center for Computing, Rifki Sadikin, stated that the ASEAN HPC facility will be located at BRIN’s HPC laboratory and designed as a shared infrastructure that can be utilized by research and scientific communities across ASEAN countries. Rifki conveyed this during the ASEAN Workshop on Advancing AI through HPC 2025, held at the B.J. Habibie Building in Jakarta on Wednesday (17/12).
