Jakarta - BRIN PR. Science technology innovation (STI) is very important to encourage economic, social, and environmental development, which are the three pillars of sustainable development. This was revealed by Head of the Governance, Economy, and Public Welfare Research Organization of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Agus Eko Nugroho in his remarks at the Elaboration Special #06, online, Monday, (30/10).
Furthermore, he said that the allocation of government funds in the field of research in Korea is clearly higher than Indonesia. According to him, Indonesia is in many ways comparable to Korea in the 1970-1980 period.
"In today's discussion we will take a closer look at Korea's STI policy in integrating the private industry sector, universities, and government research institutions, which is very important for us to learn," he said.
