South Korea and Singapore have agreed to accelerate their future-oriented strategic partnership by expanding cooperation in economic security, artificial intelligence, defense, energy supply chains, advanced technologies and startup investment.
On October 15, 2026, Park Yoon-joo, South Korea's First Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Albert Chua, Permanent Secretary of Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for inaugural Korea-Singapore Joint Steering Committee meeting.
